… when we were all walking down the aisle to receive our Diploma at Plymouth Whitemarsh High. If my memory serves me correctly it was a beautiful spring afternoon and we were ready to take on the challenges that lay ahead us after 6 hard but enjoyable years together in a school that we considered one of the best in all the land. Here we are 50 years latter with a little gray on our head and a few wrinkles that surely say that it has been 50 years.
PW Class of 61 began its 50th Reunion weekend on October 7th, 2011.
Friday evening was a memorable occasion for all that were able to attend. It was filled with a lot of laughs and smiles as friendships were rekindled after many passing years.
More than 150 alumni and friends gathered Saturday evening at the Cedarbrook Country Club where people danced to the tunes of the 50′s and reminisced about our days at PW High. The evening was filled with warm emotions, sentimental thoughts and a sense of comradery with our fellow alumni. Sunday morning came too soon while class members joined for one last get together at Sunday brunch.
As we parted company Sunday we said our goodbyes while taking our new memories home and we vowed to have informal get togethers in the years to come.
